How modular cube systems work
Each cube shares a common width and depth (typically 300mm × 380mm or 380mm × 460mm), with door heights stepping in fixed multiples. Floor-fixed plinths, side trims and sloping tops finish the assembly. Because every cube is the same footprint, you can mix sizes freely across rows — bag cubes at the bottom, valuables cubbies above.
- Mix tier heights across the same wall
- Mix steel and laminate doors in one bank
- Ideal for bespoke layouts and listed buildings
- Easy to extend later with additional modules
Where cube lockers shine
Coworking and flex offices benefit from mixed-size cubes — small for laptops and notebooks, larger for cyclist kit and helmets. Schools love them for staff rooms where teachers want personal storage in different sizes. Boutique gyms use cube walls as a feature divider between studio and reception.
Locks and access
Cube lockers accept the full range — keyed cam, combination, coin-return, RFID and BLE smart locks. Smart locks are particularly popular with cube systems because they let any member or staff member claim any cube on demand, maximising utilisation across a mixed-size wall.
